On Saturday, December 2, Jesse Coyle, Aaron Bicknell and Luke Brame (alongside riders from the mobius Project 63 MTB team) tackled the second edition of l’Etape Australia taking out the top three podium positions.

Due to inclement weathe rand the risk of flooding, the course shortened to 103km. Included along the course was the Sprint Section at Berridale and King of the Mountain at Beloka. Tyron Bicknell took second place in the sprint (and 20th overall) with Jesse winning the KOM competition, just a few seconds slower than the time recorded by 4-time Tour de France winner, Chris Froome, in 2016.

With a daring attack, Jesse powered away on the Beloka climb to win l’Etape Australia solo, with Aaron and Luke finishing a couple of minutes later.
